About Bhagavad Gita

The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most widely read and deeply studied spiritual texts of India. Embedded within the great epic Mahabharata, it presents a conversation between the warrior Arjuna and his teacher Krishna on the eve of battle.

The eighteen chapters of the Gita address fundamental questions about action, duty, knowledge, devotion, and the nature of the Self. Its teachings have been explored by seekers across centuries — from Adi Shankaracharya to Sri Aurobindo — and continue to resonate in the complexity of modern life.

About this Program

This program explores all eighteen chapters of the Bhagavad Gita through a process of collective study and reflection. The aim is not only to understand what the text says, but to discover what it means for the situations we actually face in daily life.

Participants gather regularly to read, reflect, and discuss the text together. Each session begins with a careful reading of the verses, followed by open inquiry into their meaning and practical application.

How the Program Works

  • Regular gatherings — Participants meet for daily early morning sessions
  • Collective reading — The text is read together, verse by verse
  • Open inquiry — Discussion is exploratory, not didactic
  • Daily application — Participants are invited to observe how the teachings show up in their lives
  • Sharing — Experiences and insights are brought back to the group

Who is this for?

This program is open to anyone who feels drawn to explore the Gita — whether you are coming to it for the first time or returning to it with years of prior study. No prior knowledge of Sanskrit or Indian philosophy is required.
